CLAAS JAGUAR 1000 Series Outputs the New Standard in Silage Quality

For decades, the CLAAS JAGUAR has been the undisputed leader in forage harvesting. The new JAGUAR 1000 series builds on that legacy, enhancing an already proven machine with more power and more throughput so you can have greater confidence with shrinking harvest windows.

Designed for today’s most demanding custom harvesters and livestock producers, the JAGUAR 1000 series delivers up to 20% more throughput with a wider crop flow, net-generation ORBIS and PICK UP front attachments and a 1,110-horsepower engine. That added capacity allows operators to cover more acres per hour, tighten harvest timing and pack silage at peak quality.

At the heart of the JAGUAR 1000 is the new 36-inch (910 mm) V-FLEX chopping cylinder. Its increased width, high rotational mass and precise knife geometry are designed to deliver consistent, uniform chop quality across varying conditions.

Record-Setting Performance, Proven Under Pressure

In June 2025, the JAGUAR 1200 set an official world record near Dalhart, Texas. The single machine harvested 4,515 tons of wheatlage in 12 hours, more than doubling the previous record set in 2001.

The record was set under real field conditions, using smart systems like CEMOS (CLAAS electronic machine optimization system), AUTO FILL and GPS PILOT. The machine filled a truck every 2 minutes and 42 seconds while consuming just 0.117 gallons of fuel per ton. Real-time dry matter readings from the NUTRIMETER closely matched scale measurements, reinforcing confidence in both performance and precision.
